Unable to re-install

So like I guessed, I am having trouble re-installing the game. I've tried the on-line download and the CD's. With the CD's, I got to TFT and it kept aborting patch transfers at like 70-94%. With the on-line download, I can't even get Vanilla to install. It's a new comp, built by Rahu. It has Win7 on it. Any suggestions?

If you have anyone with a WoW install nearby just copy over the folder, wow runs fine without the need of a "proper" install.
(could also copy over from old computer)
